The Texas DJ Association unites the people behind the decks across every chapter of the state — organizing locally, operating statewide, and representing the craft professionally.
To elevate the Texas DJ profession by building a connected, credentialed and respected community — and by creating the infrastructure that helps DJs, creatives, venues, brands and communities move Texas music forward together.
Texas is one of the largest and most culturally rich music markets in the world. Yet for decades, DJs across the state have operated without a unifying professional body.
TXDJA was founded to change that — starting in El Paso and expanding chapter by chapter until every major Texas music city is represented under one network.
We are a membership organization: the registry, the programs and the opportunity board all exist to serve working and aspiring DJs statewide. TXDJA programs are offered by the association — they are not licenses, accreditations, or industry certifications.

West TexasThe founding TXDJA chapter. El Paso anchors the Borderland music scene — a crossroads of techno, cumbia, house and regional Mexican culture. Programming is live and expanding across events, training and the local network.
Austin
